Le azioni principali
Festival & Concerts
The Festival brings together rediscovered scores, modern premieres, and new works inspired by the Neapolitan tradition of the 18th century. The concerts take place in symbolic locations of the city and the South, involving specialized ensembles, young performers, and an increasingly broad audience, also through live streaming and recordings.
Composition Competition
The competition invites composers to create new works inspired by the Neapolitan school of the 18th century. All participants will benefit from a free evaluation of their work.
The project pays particular attention to young people, schools, and communities in the regions of Southern Italy. Workshops, meetings, and guided listening paths provide tools to understand the Neapolitan tradition of the 18th century and to use it as a lever for personal growth, social inclusion, and dialogue.
"Save, listen, and share the project's content, including interviews, behind-the-scenes, and guided listening paths."
The section is periodically updated with new registrations and materials for schools and organizations.
“Notes from the Past, Sounds of the Future” is promoted by the Associazione Domenico Scarlatti and realized with the support of SIAE as part of the Per Chi Crea call, along with a network of institutions, cultural organizations, foundations, and educational entities. The collaboration between national and international partners makes it possible to circulate new works and inclusion projects in the area.
