DONATO ATTANASIO
Born in Naples on 18/08/2000. Music studies. Attended the State Middle School with a music specialization “Viale delle Acacie” in Naples, violin class with Maestro Giovanni Grima, participating every year in the PON Orchestra (10/10 with honors). Continued studying the violin with Maestro Giovanni Grima without interruption from the end of middle school until admission to the Conservatorio San Pietro a Majella in Naples for the First Level Academic Course, violin class. In parallel with violin studies, he studied composition self-taught. He obtained the First Level Academic Diploma, violin class, at the Conservatorio San Pietro a Majella in Naples under the guidance of Maestro Antonio Colica, on 13/07/2020 (110/110 cum laude). He obtained the Second Level Academic Diploma, violin class, at the Conservatorio San Pietro a Majella in Naples under the guidance of Maestro Antonio Colica, on 20/07/2022 (110/110 cum laude). He obtained the Second Level Academic Diploma in Composition at the Conservatorio San Pietro a Majella in Naples under the guidance of Maestro Gaetano Panariello and Maestro Paolo Tortiglione, on 14/03/2025 (110/110 cum laude), discussing a thesis titled: "Italian harmonic theories from the 20th century to today: analysis and development of one's own composition”. From 2015 to 2017 as a member of the SCARLATTI JUNIOR ORCHESTRA and from 2022 to 2024 as a member of the Orchestra of the Conservatory of San Pietro a Majella in Naples, he performed pieces from the orchestral repertoire from G.F. Handel to F. Mendelssohn, from W.A. Mozart and L. van Beethoven to P.I. Tchaikovsky and D. Soshtakovic.
