Francesco Pio Bakiu - Note dal Passato, Suoni del Futuro – Nuove composizioni ispirate alla scuola napoletana del ’700

born in Naples on 31/08/2002, comes from a family of musicians for generations, began studying piano at a very young age under the guidance of his grandmother Laura Guspini, a soprano and violinist, and has been mentored by various family friends who are teachers, including Maestro Ruben Daniel Juarez, Maestro Paolo Scibilia, and Maestro Riccardo Fiorentino. He later attended advanced courses with Maestro Marjan Mika. He is currently studying with Maestro Dario Candela.

He has participated in various competitions since he was young, such as in 2016 at the Mennella in Ischia, winning first prize, the International Competition Napolinova, winning first prize in 2017 and 2019. In 2017, he won the audition for the regional piano orchestra, ranking second. In April 2021, he won first prize at the Interstellar competition in Odessa. He is attending the three-year program at the Conservatory of Naples "San Pietro a Majella" as a collaborative teacher and has been actively performing since 2017 at all the Pianocity events as a soloist and with the regional piano orchestra, in addition to various concerts held in Italy, performing as a soloist during the concerts of Soprano Antonia Emanuela Maria Palazzo, who is also his mother. He has participated and continues to participate in all concerts and events organized with the musical high school "Margherita di Savoia" and collaborates regularly as an accompanying pianist with the instrumental classes of the Musical High School, performing as a soloist in Italy and abroad and with various instrumentalists, including the cellist and father Maestro Ilir Bakiu from the Arena di Verona.
